One thing – I goofed the transcription of the deck, so in the deck tech video and game 1, I’m running Bayushi Aibako. That slot should be Bayushi Atsuto, and I made the fix before game 2 when I realized I was only running 3 courtiers.
Yeah, it was an uphill climb for sure, but I think it’s not as bad as the videos make it out to be. Game 1 was just variance, and game 2 if he hadn’t read the Reprisal and fetched up Water I might have been ok.
I think if you’re going to play a big attachments deck, you can’t really meta Unsettling. You just have to make the decision to play the deck based on what you think the metagame you’re going into is. If everyone is packing 3x unsettling, you’re not going to be able to swim upstream no matter how hard you try.
One caveat to keep in mind is that the wasn’t build for TNO. Fall Back (my favorite card) can only be stopped by Ring of Earth now. In TNO its neutered pretty bad with the discipline cards as you saw. After this weekend I’ll be in TNO mode.
